pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. in addition, pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the body’s “core” or “powerhouse” (torso).
people who do pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health. while using controlled movements in the form of mat exercises or equipment (called the reformer) you can tone and strengthen the body.

I have been taking Megan's pilates classes on and off for years now, but most recently have been taking private one hour sessions on the reformer machine. All I can say about the reformer and Megan is WOW!!, what a difference it has made. I knew pilates has been advertised to change your body but not like this.

My experience with Meg Stokes's Teacher Training Program was truly life changing for me (and my body!). Meg has an incredible gift to read bodies, and she passed on her extensive knowledge with incredible detail, passion, and understanding. I lost more in 10 privates with Meg than I lost in 17 classes at another excellent studio. I cannot recommend her instruction enough. She is consistent and thorough, engaging and caring. She is an expert in her field, yet she is still affordable. You owe it to yourself to check out Precision Pilates, but only if you want to work hard to see results and are prepared to hear lots of complements about how great your body looks.
A session with Meg is a perfect balance of rejuvenation and toning. Her polished sense of form and ability distinguishes her from all the rest. She has a way of making you feel completely comfortable while learning about incredible abilities within your own body! I could not imagine experiencing pilates without her guidance!
